Our Data recovery service is available for anyone who is unable to access a drive or files on a computer. Files may be recoverable even in the case of inadvertent deletion or a non-functioning drive.

Don’t try any tools – call Select IT immediately!

1. Don’t attempt to recover your data yourself, continuing to operate your computer may corrupt the data that still exists on the Drive.
2. Turn the Computer off, by unplugging the power cord if necessary. Contact Select IT, we’ll arrange for the equipment to be collected, along with an assessment and handling fee of THB 1,500 (non-refundable)
3. After we receive your drive an assessment will be made about the recover ability potential and you will be given an exact price quotation.
4. The assessment is without obligation.
5. Upon your approval, we will then proceed with the recovery.
6. Most recoveries take 3-5 days.
7. When your drive is ready we will arrange delivery and re-install it for you (in Bangkok only)
8. During all work your hard drive is write protected and no modifications are ever made to any content unless explicitly requested by you.

How much will it cost

The cost of recovering your data depends on the time taken and the complexity of the work required to achieve a result.  If the drive is functional, we may just have to repair the file system, or scan the disk for deleted files (Windows doesn’t usually delete a file for good, it just deletes the record of where it stored it) in this case our charges are usually between THB. 2,000 – 8,000.

In the case of a physical or electronic problem with your disk, we may have to replace parts in a clean room environment and search for specific parts (hard disks are made in batches so finding compatible parts often requires finding a donor disk manufactured within 2-4 weeks of the faulty disk) in this case our charges would start from THB. 10,000.

In some cases you may already have a partial back up of your disk and only require a few files to be recovered, let us know this before and we’ll just our quotation accordingly.

In any case, after we receive your drive an assessment will be made about the recover ability potential and you will be given an exact price quotation.

• We cannot guarantee the amount of data that can be recovered.
• We cannot guarantee the amount of time spent on the recovery.
• Most standard recovery takes no more than five work days, while many may be completed in a day or two.
